Hey guys, it's Mr. Niki T.!!

Just wanted to say we had a blast doing a full set Friday night in Dayton, OH. That was actually the first time this lineup of the band has ever played "Straw Monster". We had a lot of requests for it so we decided to learn it. Also threw in a new cover tune, a new rendition of "Personal", and a jam session. So here's the question....what did you think? Did you like the newer stuff we threw in there? Let us know! Comment on this blog...Your opinion KOunts!! Sorry....it's just so easy to be cheesy!!

Hey it's Niki.....just got back from recording some overdubs at OLS Productions on our new tune that should be released in April. We did most of the tracking with co producer Hugo Ferreira (Tantric) and finishing the rest in Cincy with our good friend Rob Nadler. Much more excited about the tune now that it is in Rob's hands..He knows what he's doing, and knows it well. Sugar will be recording some background vocals within a couple weeks and we most likely will have a bad ass tune for you all. We will keep ya posted...till then stay classy San Diego ;)

Official Release: Ohio modern rockers, 8KOunt, will be joining forces with Tantric frontman Hugo Ferreira as producer for their next single. but that's what the 8K boys did today! It was cold, and it was windy but we're pretty excited to see what shots we get.

It was our first time working with photographer Anna Burke. I met her at an art show last winter and talked about doing a shoot at that time. She's got a great eye and has done some very impressive work and we're all looking forward to see her shots.

After the shoot it was off to HotHead Burrito by UD to warm up with some spicy chicken tasties. We will have the new shots up on 8kount.com hopefully soon.

So Monday night (12/14) I am on the phone with Jim (aka: Sugar, lead vox) around 8:30pm and we are discussing plans to do some shows in early 2010.
