8KOunt frontman, Sugar James and his family will be taking part in a short-term mission trip to Costa Rica this summer. Because raising the almost $10,000 for the trip is a big part of the mission, the boys in 8KOunt agreed to help their mate and will be performing a free fundraiser to help defray the costs. The show will be held on Friday, May 31st at 7pm at Far Hills Community Church in Dayton. 

"The parts of CR that we're going to aren't the hip tourist spots," said James. "We're just stoked to be able to help people in that community. I'm also pumped about the show to rais support for the trip."

 

 Plans have just been finalized for 8KOunt to open for Framing Hanley on Friday, March 8th at McGuffy's House of Rock in Dayton, OH. This is an ALL AGES event so we're looking forward to seeing all of our friends and fans! Doors are at 7pm and it should be a great night to rock out.

8KOunt is proud to announce a new show for 2013 sharing the stage with the legendary P.O.D.! The show will be on Thursday, February 7 at McGuffy's House of Rock in Dayton, OH. Doors will open at 7pm with the BIG ROCK starting at 8pm! 

"We are so stoked to be doing this gig with P.O.D.," said frontman Sugar James. "They have been one of my favorites for a long time. I've listed to their 'Murdered Love' recording that came out just a few months ago a great deal. It's one of the best releases of 2012, in my opinion. It's not surprising though, they have so much incredible material. Heck, they could do a whole show with nothing but hits from 'Southtown' and 'Satellite'!!"
